CNR-IAS will be in charge of the mock-ups selection, distribution and marine weathering in the urban environment of the Experimental Marine Station (GEMS) in Genoa and in the rural environment of the Experimental station at Capo Granitola (TP).
CNR-IAS laboratory techniques and skills in the field of the chemical and physical characterization of metals and related conservation treatments will be involved in the project, with a special focus on electrochemical techniques (Rp and EIS) for corrosion assessment.
CNR-IAS will lead the following two Work-packages of the MEDUSA project: WP3 and WP5
and will benefit from the cooperation of all the other research partners.
